Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Electrical and Electronic Engineering image Recent progress of science and technology in the fields of electrical engineering, electronic engineering and intelligence systems accelerates the expansion of related industries and electronization and informationization in various fields of them. To cope with these changes in our society, we are needed to produce the experts who can lead the further development of these trends.
Department of Electronic Intelligence and Systems, to meet such a social demand, is implementing the education aiming to produce the engineers who have knowledge of fundamentals in engineering and science, a sense of creativity and ethics, professional skills and judgment to design appropriate solutions to technical and organizational problems, and the ability to engage in life-long learning, along with a broad education and good communication skills.

Objectives of Electronic Intelligence and Systems Education
We have established the educational objectives below for producing:
  1. engineers who have a sense of ethics, and the basic ability to assess the impact of engineering solutions in a global context;
  2. engineers who have fundamental knowledge of science, engineering and information technology and can make an effective use of it for contribution to society;
  3. engineers who have a sound foundation in engineering principles, and the ability both to apply this knowledge in design, application and business practices and to develop leadership skills;
  4. engineers who have sufficient social and technical communication skills in Japanese, as well as the basic ability of international communication;
  5. engineers who have a special understanding of local industries and the ability to recognize and respond current societal and global issues creatively;
  6. engineers who have the ability to engage in life-long learning dealing with an ever-changing society.
